Douglas Scott

Douglas Leigh Scott of Arden passed peacefully in his sleep at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Dearest son of Lois (the late Leigh) Scott of Arden. Loving companion & best friend of Jeannet MacPherson. Cherished father of Miranda (Kyle) Scott of Northbrook, Jessie (Cc) Scott of Edmonton, Janice (Dylan) Scott of Hartington and special step-father of Shelby MacPherson of Belleville and Michaela (Jeff) VanNess of Arden. "Grampa Hotdog" will always be remembered by his grandchildren Shaelynn, Alex, Ainzleigh, Xavier, Samantha, Lucy and Khori.

Doug will be sadly missed by his sister Elaine (Floyd) Flieler, and his brothers Roger (Michelle) Scott, Allen (Sue) Scott, Donnie (Jennifer) Scott, all of Arden. Pre-deceased by his sister Noreen Baese. Survived by his brother-in-law John Baese. Fondly remembered by Jeannet's family, Penny (Donnie) Hinchey of Kaladar, Ross (Susan) Allen of Cloyne, Garry (Jeannie) Allen of Kaladar, as well as his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

Cremation has taken place with Milestone Funeral Center. A Celebration of Life for Doug will take place at the Arden Legion, 5957 Arden Rd. Arden on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 1pm. Friends desiring are welcome to contribute toward the funeral expenses for Doug, with sincere appreciation from the family.
