George Hawley

George passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday October 29th 2019. Pre-deceased by his wife Vie Hawley (nee Burke) of 62 years. Loving father of Bob (Teresa) Hawley of Washington and Nanci Hawley of Minnesota. Papa will always be cherished in the hearts of his grandchildren Andrew (Arielle), Adrianne (Aaron), Caitlin (Cole) and his great-grandchildren Connor and Charlotte. He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in law Barb Burke Renaud of Glen Tay, Pat Burke of Perth, Louise Burke of Glen Tay, Rita Burke of Perth, and his brother-in-law Steven (Edie) Burke of Carleton Place. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Ivan (Linda) Hawley of B.C. and his many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased are his sister Ina Clark and his brothers-in-law Jim, Tom, Bob, Russell, Morris and sisters-in-law Shirley and Helen.  The family will receive friends at the Milestone Funeral Center, 11928 Hwy 41 Northbrook, Ont. K0H 2G0 on  Friday November 1st, 2019 from 10:00-11:00am. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the Chapel at 11:00am. Burial of the urn will take place at the Arden Cemetery.
