Karen Marie VanNess - It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Karen on Thursday, November 28, 2019. Loving daughter of Isobel Wood of Northbrook, Proud mother of Codi (Brittany) Flieler of Stratford, Jesse Gillingham of Denbigh and Bree-Anna Gillingham (Tayte) of Denbigh. A special "Banana-Nana" of Aubrey and Hunter Isobel. Karen will be sadly missed by her brothers Rick (Loretta) Wood of Chapleau, Larry (Jan) Wood of Inverary and Brad (Dawn) Wood of Kingston. Pre-deceased by her sister Donna Wood. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. 

A Celebration of Karen's Life will take place at the Milestone Funeral Center, Northbrook on on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 11am-2pm with a Time of Remembrance at 2pm. Interment at Dempsey Cemetery. Friends desiring may contribute in Karen's memory to the funeral expenses with appreciation from the family. 

* lunch and refreshments will be available and served during the Celebration of Life from 11am - 2pm. If you would like to bring along something to add to the lunch would be welcomed.
