REAVIE, Laura (Marjorie Pearl) A beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Laura left this world unexpectedly, at 48 years old, on June 8, 2023. Born in Belleville, Ontario on February 25, 1975 to Morris and the late Judy (Martel) Reavie, she grew up in her younger years living on a farm in Flinton, Ontario and then in Northbrook, Ontario where she would grow into her adult years. Laura dedicated her life to looking after the elderly and spent the last 30 plus years doing so at Pine Meadow Nursing Home. Laura was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. Nothing mattered more than family, especially her daughters, Mackenzie and Kaitlyn. Her daughters were her world.
We will always remember Laura’s strength, resilience, sense of humour and Momma Bear instincts for all her family members. When you think of Laura, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Laura will be sadly missed by her partner Todd Manion and his son Mason Manion, and her loving daughters Mackenzie and Kaitlyn Wilson. Laura will be dearly missed by her sisters Kimberly (Ronald Raymo), Karrie (Tom Jones), Christine (the late Dale Wood), and Alice (Scott Bernier). Laura will be missed by her nieces and nephews Kavita Grant (Joel), Ryan Raymo (Amber), Cassandra Raymo (Patrick), Rachel Reavie (Zack), Emily and Nathan Bernier. As well as her three great nephews Owen, Levi and Blayne Raymo.
Family and friends will be received at Milestone Funeral Center, Northbrook on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 12pm to 1:30pm.
