Olive MacPherson

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Olive MacPherson (nee Holm-Laursen and Strong) on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Kingston General Hospital. She was pre-deceased by her first husband James Holm-Laursen and second husband Floyd MacPherson and also two sisters Shirley (Maurice) Proulx and Norma Lance. She leaves to mourn her 5 children... Brian (Marjorie) of Nova Scotia, Ken (Pat) of Matawatchan, Darlene (Steve) of Scarborough, Rick (Rosemary) of Oshawa and Rob (the late Mary) of Matawatchan. Memories of a dear grandmother will be shared by her 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren who called her GG, and also her extended MacPherson family. She will be greatly missed by her sisters Marion (Gerald) Adamson and Jackie (Bruce) Jenks both of Renfrew.

Cremation has taken place with Milestone Funeral Center. A funeral service and interment of her ashes will place at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice or to Pine Meadow Nursing home would be greatly appreciated.
