William "Bill" Snider

William Bruce “Bill” Snider – passed peacefully at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 after a brave 20 year battle with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years Wanda Snider of Roblin. Proud father of Tracy (Derek) Maschke, Bryan (Ellen) Snider and step-father of Karen (Jamie) Lavoie and Jason Akey. Cherished “Papa” to his grandchildren Cole, Ally, Izzy, Sophia, Nick and Noah. Bill will be sadly missed by his sisters Eva (Craig) Brennan, Alice (the late Carl) Rendall, Wanda Snider (the late Dennis) and his brother James Snider (Cathie). Pre-deceased by his parents Wesley & Kay Snider and his sister Brenda Sweet. Many good times & memories will be treasured forever by his brother-in-law James Sweet. Bill will always be remembered for his incredible talent on guitar and his passion for music. He enjoyed strumming a good tune with his long time guitar partner Marvin “Hoss” Delyea.   

Cremation has taken place as per Bill’s request. The family invite you to join them at the Milestone Funeral Center, Northbrook on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 12-3pm to honour and Celebrate his Life. Words of Remembrance and tributes will follow at 3pm.
